What You'll Do

Prepare accurate income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in line with IFRS.

Perform timely bank reconciliations and adjustments for month-end and year-end closings.

Ensure accurate posting of all transactions and adjustments into the General Ledger.

Review tax computations and payments to ensure compliance.

Monitor and review payables, receivables, accruals, and prepayment GLs.

Provide documentation and support for both internal and external audits.

What We're Looking For

Minimum of HND/BSc in Accounting or a related field.

Membership (or final stage) of a recognized professional body (ICAN, ACCA).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all accounting processes and records of subsidiaries.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial performance reports and forecasts.
  • Monitor project funds through Project Viability Reports.
  • Ensure accurate billing of customers and timely collection of receivables.
  • Post and reconcile general ledgers on a monthly basis.
  • Support preparation of monthly Management Reports.
  • Work with facility teams to ensure developed communities are adequately serviced.
  • Assist in annual audit preparation for all companies (OHL, OUL, BML, OPSL).
  • Support client services in resolving customer issues.
  • Perform payment gateway validations.
  • Prepare monthly services reports (Power, Water, Service Charge) for Utilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • First degree (B.Sc. or HND) in Accounting.
  • Master's degree (MBA, MSc Finance, etc.) is an added advantage.

Professional Qualification:

  • ACA / ACCA (Mandatory).

Career Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Experience in construction, property development, facility, or property management is an added advantage.
