Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
• Support the development of the desired HSSE culture in the owner and contractor teams to achieve Goal Zero. br>• nsure HSSE compliance within area of responsibility. < r>• F r Commissioning Systems under their area of responsibility; provide assurance across all CSU elements of the project, including Inspection and Test Record (ITR) creation/allocation, development of the < r>commissioning and start-up procedures, and field execution.
• S pport the CSU Emergency Response (ER) preparedness & readiness. < r>• M nitor and report the agreed CSU metrics to ensuring the performance of the contractor and that project requirements are met. < r>• E sure that safety critical elements are identified, and performance standards captured in commissioning check sheets. < r>• C ntribute to the CSU Alarm Management preparation & implementation to prevent alarm overload during commissioning execution. < r>• S pport contractor in the development of the commissioning systems, sequence, and integrated schedule. < r>• S pport contractor in the definition of key commissioning criteria, i.e. cleanliness, etc. < r>• P rticipate in the development of Commissioning and Test Procedures and ensure sufficient discipline review. < r>• P ovide oversight on Preservation, Cleanliness and Tightness planning and execution. < r>• P rticipate in the execution of the CSU field activities. < r>• C ordinate Shell Technicians in the witnessing of tests, checks and activities being carried out by Contractor during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning. < r>• P rticipate in system walkdowns and punch listing as required. < r>• S pport asset operations team during SURU planning and execution. < r>• C ntribute to the development of the Start-Up and Ramp-Up (SURU) plans and procedures including identification of risks and development of what-if scenarios. < r>• C ntribute to the development of the Project to Asset Transfer Plan and support the handover of the facilities to the future Asset owner. < r>• C pture project lessons learnt for the benefit of future Shell projects. < r>
Qualifications:
Education: Degree or Diploma level qualification in Engineering or related discipline
Experience: 10 years’ experience in operations and commissioning and start-up positions in Oil & Gas projects, with proven experience in the relevant discipline. < r>Knowledge
• Ski l of Commissioning & Start-up planning and execution and capable of overseeing embedment of Flawless Start-Up initiatives in projects. < r>• E perience will cover large-scale Oil & Gas Facilities. < r>• C nversant with the principles and deployment of Technical Integrity and can manage the interface with engineering. < r>• C pable of monitoring and where necessary supporting and/or directing contractors in the CSU and Operations support areas of their scopes of work. < r>• E perience with implementation of the Flawless Delivery Process on a major project. < r>• T e candidate shall be willing and able to work on technical details, have good theoretical knowledge combined with practical engineering and operations experience. < r>• C ndidate must be conversant with all relevant International and Group Procedures and Standards. < r>• D monstrable experience in quality related matters (i.e. Quality Assurance, Quality Control). < r>

• E cellent interpersonal and leadership skills with good communications skills are essential. < r>
