Managing a team of well trained and motivated sales representative across the territory through regular infield training, clear communication and constructive feedback mechanisms.
Key Performance Areas:
- Achievement of sales, market share and growth objectives for the region under your management through execution of agreed strategies and DP World strategic plan.

- Responsible for personnel management, monitoring and evaluating the performance of all field service personnel including the recruitment, training, coaching, development, and corrective counselling.

- Maintain required team call rate/coverage targets through monitoring of SFE systems.

- Maintain key opinion leader contact within the team for each rep's key customers.
- Compile and update a Sales Operating Plan for the Region after each quarterly review with detailed analysis and feedback to the leadership team.
- Constant performance management of the team to ensure optimal sales delivery through coaching reports, feedback and formal DP World processes.
- Set vision and strategy for their respective region. Actively seek, identify, analyze, and present new business opportunities that can impact and drive their region.
- Assist the marketing team with forecasting of core products.
- Monitoring sales activities and expense budgets in-line with targets.
Qualifications Required:
- A tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Sales, Marketing or Business.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 years Sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years Sales Management experience (in particular a pharmaceutical sales team).
- Prior experience of the Sub Sahara African region pharmacy & hospital environment is an advantage and preferred.
- Strong sales track record and evidence of delivering on targets consistently.
