Our client is actively recruiting a dedicated Warehouse Management Lead to spearhead their operations, functioning entirely remotely. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of warehouse management, ensuring peak efficiency, accuracy, and safety. You will develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve warehouse layout, inventory control, order fulfillment, and material handling processes. As a key member of our fully remote team, you will leverage digital platforms to manage warehouse staff (where applicable, often coordinating with on-site teams remotely), analyze performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management systems (WMS), and lean principles. Proven experience in leading warehouse teams and managing large-scale distribution operations is essential. You will be tasked with setting performance goals, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting on warehouse productivity and efficiency. A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, is required. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are critical for success in this remote leadership capacity. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse environment, even while managing remotely. This includes developing and implementing training programs for warehouse staff and promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
