Role Summary:
Prime Powerco Limited is looking for a dynamic Key Account Executive to join our Commercial/Business Development team in the Renewable Energy division. This role will be critical in developing new business, maintaining relationships with key accounts, and ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and relationship-building skills, with the ability to drive growth in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Business Development:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, focusing on existing clients and identifying new business opportunities.
- Drive new business development by identifying areas for improvement and targeting new market segments within the renewable energy space.
- Implement business strategies and ensure achievement of sales targets, including revenue, EBITDA, and profit margins.
- Provide solutions to meet customer needs and concerns through efficient service delivery and product offerings.
Support in the preparation of business plans and market analysis to identify and secure new opportunities.
Sales & Marketing:
- Develop and implement competitive strategies to grow the business and leverage market data to drive company growth and profitability.
- Work with Key Account Officers to increase market share and ensure client satisfaction.
- Position products effectively to maintain a consistent corporate image and ensure market leadership.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability and drive sales.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor performance against key metrics and provide reports to the Team Lead.
- Support Key Account Officers in managing relationships with customers and addressing any escalations or requests.
Ensure industry best practices are followed by the team to maintain high performance and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Attributes:
- Bachelor's degree (Required), MBA preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, key account management, or a similar role within the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, or related).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on performance and results.
Commercially astute, with a customer-centric approach to sales.
