**Sales Support Intern**
The Sales Support Intern supports the preparation of proposals based on customers incoming requests for quotes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support assigned business line to meet customer requirements.
+ Review technical and commercial specifications and documents.
+ Support quote development for assigned business line.
+ Coordinate with the appropriate costing/pricing authority for assigned business line.
+ Provide solutions or offer alternatives to customer inquiries that meet their requirements.
**Experience & Exposures:**
+ Recent graduate in a Geoscience field.
+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft office.
+ Candidate should be adaptable and self-driven.
+ Candidate must have completed NYSC

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Fiber Installation Support Technician to assist with the deployment and maintenance of fiber optic infrastructure. The successful candidate will support field teams in cable installation, duct laying, and related civil works while ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in demanding environments with flexible schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Assist installation teams in daily fiber deployment activities.

Pull and route fiber optic cables through ducts, trenches, and buildings.

Lay and secure HDPE ducts and conduits according to project specifications.

Clear interlocks and physical obstructions during installations.

Support trenchless installation methods such as thrust boring.

Perform groundwork tasks including trenching, backfilling, and site restoration.

Be available on-call for urgent assignments, including weekends and public holidays.

Ensure proper handling, use, and storage of tools, equipment, and materials.

Adhere to all company, client, and industry safety procedures during field operations.

Provide progress updates and coordinate effectively with field supervisors and the back-office team.

RequirementsSkills & Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fiber installation or related civil works.

Familiarity with tools, techniques, and processes used in cable pulling and duct installations.

Good physical strength and stamina, with the ability to work in challenging environments.

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to work flexible hours.

Ability to follow technical instructions and perform tasks under supervision.

Must be reachable by phone and available to report on short notice.

Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices in construction or fiber projects.

Additional Requirements

Must be a Nigerian citizen.

Physically fit and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
