Job Description
About Us
We are on a mission to close the global learning gap. We're building an AI-powered platform (Slide Study Center) that delivers personalized, on-demand academic support—especially for students who lack access to quality tutoring. Our work is rooted in research-backed challenges: learning poverty, teacher burnout, expensive and inconsistent tutoring, and ineffective study habits. We believe the future of education must be flexible, equitable, and deeply aligned with how students actually learn.
The Role
We're seeking volunteer teaching consultants who will help shape the pedagogical backbone of our platform. You'll serve as a thought partner in designing effective learning experiences, and later, transition into mentorship roles for our users—guiding them through academic challenges, study strategies, and personal growth.
This is more than a volunteer gig. It's a launchpad for future paid opportunities:
• Part-time paid roles in educational content creation
• Mentorship commissions for guiding learners
• Full-time positions as we scale
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with our team to advise on curriculum design, study strategies, and learner engagement
• Provide feedback on AI-generated learning paths and content
• Participate in virtual roundtables to share insights and best practices
• Serve as a mentor to platform users (with paid perks/commissions as we roll out mentorship programs)
• Optionally contribute to educational content creation (paid per project)
What We're Looking For
• Passionate educators, tutors, or academic coaches
• Experience in teaching, curriculum design, or educational psychology
• Strong understanding of learner diversity and study challenges
• Familiarity with digital learning tools or EdTech platforms
• Open-minded collaborators excited to build something from the ground up
Perks & Growth
- Early contributor status in a mission-driven startup
- Future paid roles in content creation, mentorship, and platform development
- Recognition and visibility across our platform and community
- Flexible hours and remote-first culture
- The chance to help solve one of the most urgent global education problems
Why This Matters
Millions of students study late at night with no one to turn to. Many tutors don't know their exact syllabus. And too often, support is expensive, inconsistent, or unavailable when it's needed most. Slide Study Center is here to change that—and we want you to be part of the solution.
Ready to join us?
Apply directly on Wellfound or email us at () with a short note about your background and why this mission speaks to you.
Let's build the future of learning—together.
