The company is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer who will be responsible for the designs and supervision of slabs, columns, high-rise building structures, underground structures, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision of structural design engineers, interface management with clients, and interdisciplinary coordination with other disciplines of engineers.
• Develop structural plans designs, and drawings for other construction personnel to follow.
• Oversee the building and creation of structures and frames.
• Analyze and make changes to ongoing projects as they move onward to ensure the safety of the structures being built.
• Work in line with local building codes, considering flooding, fire safety measures, and other variables such as wind tunnels and surface quality.
• Inspect and analyze existing buildings to determine their safety or viability to be made safe again.
• Make recommendations to close or demolish unsafe buildings if deemed unsafe to habitation or a risk to the local community.
• Make plans to renovate listed buildings that may need original restoration work.
• Work in line with health and safety guidelines.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 8 - 15 years experience in structural (design) engineering
• Structural design software competencies.
• Technology proficiencies required such as STAAD PRO, PROKON, TEKLA, AUTOCAD, SAP2000, AUTODESK, REVITS, and PROTA.
• Exceptional Leadership and Time management skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
