The ideal candidate will design and execute comprehensive test strategies and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Conduct functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate application logic, user interfaces, and business workflows.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution using issue-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure full coverage of test scenarios.
- Support deployment validation and post-release testing efforts.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and documentation to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or application testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and browser testing tools.
- Basic understanding of workflow automation or business process management systems.
Preferred / Added Advantage:
- Experience with workflow automation platforms Prior experience in the banking, financial services, or similar regulated industry.
- Exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium, Katalon, or Cypress.
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
