About

The Salon Manager oversees the daily operations of the salon, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth staff management, and effective business performance. This role involves supervising salon staff, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the salon.
• Ensure salon cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health & safety standards.
• Manage scheduling, bookings, and walk-ins to maximize efficiency.

2. Staff Supervision & Training

• Recruit, train, and supervise salon staff (stylists, beauticians, receptionists, storekeepers).
• Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
• Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
• Motivate team to deliver high-quality services and achieve business goals.

3. Customer Service

• Ensure excellent client experience and handle customer complaints professionally.
• Build relationships with clients and encourage repeat patronage.
• Implement loyalty programs and promotional activities to retain customers.

4. Financial & Sales Management

• Monitor daily sales, service revenue, and expenses.
• Set and achieve sales targets for products and services.
• Ensure proper billing, cash handling, and reconciliation of salon accounts.

5. Inventory & Product Management

• Oversee stock levels and coordinate with the storekeeper for replenishment.
• Ensure correct usage and promotion of salon products.
• Negotiate with suppliers for timely delivery and favorable pricing.

6. Marketing & Business Growth

• Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and social media marketing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Salon Manager or in a supervisory role within the beauty industry.
