Role Overview
The Real Estate Investment & Operations Manager will play a dual role in driving the growth of Novalux Capital's portfolio. This position combines investment management (fundraising, financial analysis, investor relations) with operational leadership (launching and managing shortlets, coordinating with agencies/realtors, overseeing property administration, and ensuring strong returns).
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, highly organized, and capable of working across investment, marketing, and operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Investment & Business Growth
- Support fundraising efforts by preparing pitch decks, investor reports, and presentations.
- Identify, approach, and engage potential investors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis, feasibility studies, and ROI projections for property acquisitions and developments.
- Assist in structuring deals, investment models, and partnership agreements.
2. Portfolio Operations
- Oversee the launch of the first Novalux Capital shortlet property, ensuring high-quality setup and guest experience.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the property portfolio, including bookings, pricing, guest relations, and property upkeep.
- Work closely with property management companies, agencies, and realtors to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and property standards.
3. Marketing & Growth
- Collaborate with marketing teams/agencies to design and execute strategies that drive bookings and visibility.
- Leverage online platforms (Airbnb, , shortlet portals) and partnerships to grow occupancy rates.
- Develop relationships with real estate agencies and corporate clients for long-term stays and bulk bookings.
4. Administration & Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of property performance, expenses, and revenues.
- Produce regular reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) for the CEO and investors.
- Track KPIs including occupancy rate, revenue per property, and ROI.
- Implement operational systems, processes, and tools for efficiency.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (CFA, ACCA, RICS, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in real estate investment, property management, or related fields, with proven experience raising funds or managing investor relations.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
- Knowledge of real estate markets, especially shortlet/serviced apartments.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Ability to multitask across investments, marketing, and operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with property management software is a plus.

We're looking for an experienced Inventory Management Officer who will be responsible for administrating the organization's policies and procedures to control and monitor PalmPay's assets including properties, plants, vehicles and equipment. Monitors asset lifecycles, inventories, locations, and replacements, and maintains status and costs.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop an organizational philosophy for comprehensive management and accounting of PalmPay's assets. Coordinate processes and documentation required for new asset acquisition, disposal, replacement, and tracking of lost or stolen assets
- Conduct periodic audits, spot checks, and physical verification counting and ensure compliance with asset regulation rules/laws
- Manage an active depreciation schedule to ensure the asset's book value is constantly updated and appropriate taxes are applied and paid. Work with vendors and cross-functional groups to maintain accurate & complete asset data
- Develop and implement an asset management system, and ensure all assets are properly classified, categorized and recorded in the SAP system
- Develop and implement an annual asset verification and audit plan
- Liaise with end users to ensure licensing (where required), routine maintenance schedules, and plans are integrated into SAP, and are being strictly adhered to
- Liaise with Line Managers to ensure asset written-offs are properly disposed of and impact remediated
- Track warranties on all PalmPay's assets, ensuring these are executed appropriately and warehouse all other relevant items, such as operating manuals, spare keys, etc. providing access as required
- Provide an asset utility report with recommendations to management on (remainder) asset life, maintenance and replacement costs etc. Provide general advice to PalmPay's executives on asset procuring and management
Prepare periodic asset updates to Management and the Leadership team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or other related fields
At least 2 years experience in inventory and asset management for a financial institution/fintech
