Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ad Copywriting & Optimization: Develop, test, and refine ad copy for various paid campaigns (social media, search, retargeting) to improve click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates.

JOB PURPOSE

Territory Manager, Port Harcourt 1, is responsible for driving secondary sales by making Unilever's products available and visible to the consumer for the assigned territory. Managing distributors and distributor's sales force and ensuring optimal implementation of company's trade activities and merchandising plans across all relevant channels.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

1. Sales

Right Stores

  • Expand coverage to all viable stores in keeping with territory plans
  • Ensure that effective coverage is as close to 100% as possible
  • Constantly be on the lookout for new store openings
  • Improve controlled coverage through Sub-D and Mainstream

Better Stores

  • Ensure use of HHTs to meet all store specific tasks
  • Ensure right merchandizing tasks are executed by a merchandiser supported by DSR
  • Maximise the number of perfect stores under your coverage

Better Served

  • Ensuring orders are fulfilled in full on time
  • Improve suggested sell in quantity and right assortment for expansion in store
  • Providing the right frequency of service and category level or common DSR to book orders
  • Manage KD's and customer's complaints

Target Achievement

  • Drives 100% achievement of all KPIs within the assigned territories and all relevant channels.

Instore Execution

  • Execution of perfect stores programmes to win at point of sales
  • Ensure implementation of in-store objectives during coaching and accompaniment of DSRs.

We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager to manage dealer networks, drive sales growth, and strengthen the STIHL brand.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 5+ years in agricultural equipment sales
  • Fluency in a local language from the region
  • Willingness to travel
  • B.Sc/HND with a valid driver's license

Salary: ₦400,000 + Stable Monthly Commissions

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER NORTH CENTRAL

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and strengthening STIHL's brand presence across the North-Central region of Nigeria. This role involves managing dealer networks, developing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales & Business Development

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.

Identify and onboard new dealers, distributors, and key accounts to expand STIHL's footprint.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales approaches.

Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for dealers and end-users.

  1. Dealer & Distribution Network Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and distributors.

Ensure dealers adhere to STIHL's brand standards, pricing policies, and sales guidelines.

Provide sales support, merchandising guidance, and inventory management advice to dealers.

  1. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

Engage with large-scale agricultural, forestry, and construction businesses to promote STIHL products.

Address customer complaints and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Organize and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and farmer/forester outreach programs.

  1. Market Intelligence & Reporting

Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities in the region.

Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management by applying our CRM

Provide feedback on product performance and customer preferences to support product development.

  1. Team Collaboration & Training

Work closely with marketing, technical support, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.

Train dealer sales teams on STIHL products, features, and selling techniques.

Qualifications & Experience

Track record in regional sales management, dealer/distributor network development, and market expansion.

Basic understanding of the Nigerian market of agriculture, forestry, and construction equipment sectors

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Key Competencies

Results-driven with a strong sales orientation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

B.Sc/HND in any related field

Minimum of 5 years' experience in selling and marketing Agricultural equipment

Must be fluent in the local language – preferable from the North Central and South East

Excellent communication skills (English) verbally and in writing

Computer literacy Ms office and possibly SAP /CRM

Customer service orientation

Readiness to travel (domestic /International)

B.Sc / HND in any related field

Valid Driver's License
