Job Summary
:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive NOC Engineer with 4 to 6 years of proven experience in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance, servers, and systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Respond promptly to network alerts and incidents, escalating where necessary.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.

• Configure, test, and maintain network management tools and systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, and vendors) to resolve complex issues.

• Generate regular reports on network performance, incidents, and resolution times.

• Support change management processes, including planned upgrades, patches, and deployments.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in the telecom industry as a NOC Engineer or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols, switching, and network monitoring tools.

• Familiarity with telecom infrastructure, signaling, and transmission technologies.

• Proficiency in incident management and fault resolution.

• Experience with network monitoring platforms (e.g., Cataleya, Digitalk).

• Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, ITIL, or equivalent.

• Experience in managing vendor escalations and SLAs.
