The position

The Network Security Engineer (NSE) is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the bank's network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance. This role covers LAN, WAN, wireless, firewalls, and AWS cloud networking environments, ensuring reliable communication and connectivity across the business.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and deploy network solutions and services on AWS Cloud and on-premises (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points).

The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting security solutions across enterprise networks and OT/ICS environments in the Oil & Gas sector. The role ensures the protection of critical infrastructure, business applications, and data assets against evolving cyber threats while aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network and security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies, and NAC solutions.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities across IT and OT environments.
• Ensure secure connectivity between onshore/offshore facilities, refineries, data centers, and cloud platforms.
