Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and deploy LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and other network components. br>
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, ensuring system availability and reliability.

Install and support network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).

Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security solutions.

Work closely with systems engineers, helpdesk staff, and other teams to ensure seamless IT operations.

Requirements:

Our client requires the service of a highly skilled Network engineer with Fin-Tech experience to oversee and maintain all aspects of Network hardware. This includes maintaining networks security patches, configuration and security programs and systems.
br>Responsibilities
• Monitor Network security status, monitor Application and Response System (CSMARS) and other security monitoring tools < r>• Manage remote connections (VPN management) < r>• Monitor and enforce compliance with network security policies bank wide < r>• Carry out all suggested response actions to threats upon detection of a security breach or network attack < r>• Ensure proper functioning of all Security Devices (Checkpoints, ASA, PIX Firewall, IPS, Routers) < r>• Review logs of Security devices (Checkpoints, IPS, ACS,ASA,PIX Firewall) < r>• Coordinate the regular changing network devices passwords < r>• Carry out network security audit, periodic vulnerability assessment and network penetration < r>• Testing (ethical hacking) using tools such as Qualys guard and NMAP < r>• Generate and send Network Security Reports (daily, weekly, monthly) < r>• Research and suggest improvement initiatives with regards to Network Security < r>• Lockdown of all network devices and new equipment’s before deployment
