Operating Forklifts: Safely maneuvering forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve goods, materials, and pallets.Loading and Unloading: Loading and unloading trucks, containers, or shelves, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.Inventory Management: Relocating inventory and goods to designated areas, maintaining organization and maximizing space utilization.Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols and regulations related to forklift operation, and maintaining a safe work environment.Equipment Maintenance: Performing daily safety checks on forklifts and reporting any defects.Communication: Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations and communicating any issues or concerns.Assisting with loading and unloading trucks when needed.Maintaining the cleanliness of the forklift and surrounding areas. Assisting with special projects or tasks as required. Assisting with inventory control and cycle counts.Potentially assisting with packaging shipments, checking inventories, or other warehouse duties. RequirementsForklift Operation: Proven experience in fast-paced industry settings preferred and proficiency in operating forklifts. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying items. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in inventory management and handling of materials. Safety Awareness: Prioritizing safety in all operations and adhering to safety regulations. Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors. Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations for inventory and other tasks. Forklift operation certificate is mandatory. Accuracy and alertness critical due to export quality standards.BenefitsMonthly Salary: N80,000-N150,000
