Job Description (Summary):
As an Inventory Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, supporting sales operations, and maintaining the premium standard of product availability and presentation expected in a luxury retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of all products across showroom and warehouse locations.
Conduct regular stock counts (daily, weekly, monthly) and reconcile variances in coordination with the finance and sales teams.
Receive, inspect, and record incoming merchandise; ensure proper tagging, shelving, and storage.
Coordinate stock transfers between locations and document all inventory movements appropriately.
Work closely with the sales team to forecast demand and ensure optimal stock levels.
Prepare and submit inventory reports to management regularly.
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and ensure compliance with company standards.
Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate actions.
Assist in preparing for audits and support loss prevention efforts.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
HND or B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory or stock management, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment. < r>Previous experience in a luxury or premium retail setting.
Familiarity with POS and inventory tracking systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Inventory, or similar).
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
