Job Summary: The company is looking to hire an experienced Odoo System Support who will be responsible for developing and implementing backups and disaster recovery procedures.
As an Odoo System Support, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the Odoo platform. Also, s/he will ensure to provide ongoing support and training to users on utilizing Odoo functionalities and stay informed about Odoo updates and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide training and technical support to end-users, ensuring they understand and can effectively use the Odoo system.
- Create user manuals, document ERP processes, and prepare deployment progress updates for stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation and management of master data, including Customer, Supplier, Products, and Material records.
- Investigate Technical Issues.
- Quantify an issue's scope and propose a solution
- Own support tickets and troubleshooting within our organization for Odoo, tools, and services.
- Working with internal cross-functional teams to solve technical problems for our customers and strategic partners
- Acting as a technical advisor to our staff and strategic partners
- Solving technical problems, demonstrating Odoo modules and services, and communicating clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
- Troubleshoot areas of poor performance and identify effective solutions to resolve issues both in the immediate future and for the longer term.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations on response quality, timeliness of responses, and overall customer experience
- Comfortable working with Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL in self-hosted, SaaS, and PaaS environments.
Document support ticket resolution and apply these fixes for customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
- Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and exceptional time management.
- Must be self-initiative and self-driven, capable of taking proactive steps to address challenges and improve processes within the scope of the role.
- Creative thinker and strategic problem solver
- Knowledge of coding/scripting (Bash, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
- Familiarity with database concepts/scripting
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, both written and verbally.
