Role & responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network and security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies, and NAC solutions.

• Ensure secure connectivity between onshore/offshore facilities, refineries, data centers, and cloud platforms.

• Develop, document, and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
• 58 years of experience in Network & Security Engineering, preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy, or critical infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS, SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), and endpoint protection.
• Knowledge of OT/ICS cybersecurity frameworks (ISA/IEC 62443, NERC CIP) is highly desirable.
• Experience with secure cloud (Azure/AWS), Zero Trust, and remote access solutions.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, DNP3) and their security implications is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CEH, GIAC (GICSP, GRID), or similar.
