Main Function

The Energy Expert will lead technical strategy, feasibility assessment, and implementation planning for renewable energy projects, including solar, hydro, wind, and waste-to-energy systems. Role Responsibilities

Technical Advisory and Design Oversight

●   Provide technical leadership across renewable energy technologies including hydro, solar, wind, and waste-to-energy.

Project Development and Management

●   Lead or support the planning, execution, and monitoring of energy projects from conception to delivery.

PPP and Stakeholder Engagement

●   Contribute to structuring and delivering projects through PPP frameworks.

●   Engage with public sector agencies, private partners, financiers, and regulators to support project approval and compliance.

Solution Engineering and Innovation

●   Design energy solutions that are practical, scalable, and tailored to local energy challenges.

●   Identify and recommend technologies that align with project goals and sustainability standards.

Schedule and Cost Management

●   Develop and track project implementation timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.

●   Identify and resolve delays or risks affecting project progress.

Cross-functional Collaboration

●   Work closely with engineers, procurement, legal, and environmental experts to ensure holistic project delivery.

●   Support team members by sharing technical knowledge and promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Certifications

●   A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

●   Postgraduate degree or relevant certifications in Renewable Energy, Project Management (e.g., PMP), or Energy Policy is an advantage.

Experience

●   Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in renewable energy project development or consulting.

●   Experience working on PPP-based infrastructure or clean energy programs is highly preferred.

●   Track record of contributing to or leading successful energy project executions.
