Description
- The Engagement and Advocacy Officer will provide a critical interface between ehealth4everyone, government agencies/organizations and other project stakeholders.
- He/she will lead and support a broad range of internal/external stakeholder engagement and communication activities.
He/she will also develop innovative communication and engagement initiatives requiring the involvement of a wide range of communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Providing active management support for a range of advocacy and/or advocacy-related projects.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and keeping contact records in our database updated regularly.
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality events in collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the country.
- Daily monitoring of our activities and keeping the team informed of relevant developments and engagement opportunities.
- Conducting research and supporting the drafting of briefings on key engagement areas.
Providing administrative support relating to our advocacy, including the coordination of mailings, scheduling meetings locally and taking minutes, including pictures of the activities.
Qualification and Skills
- A Master's degree in Public Health.
- A minimum three(3) years of experience working with stakeholders and clients and dealing with sensitive issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to impart and present information to stakeholders, formulate reports and gain cooperation.
A demonstrated ability to prepare and implement strategies in stakeholder relations and issue management are vital to the role.

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Public Health Research Officer to lead the coordination of a short-term implementation study focused on post-abortion care. The successful candidate will play a central role in protocol development, stakeholder engagement, site activation, and oversight of study activities. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong organizational, research, and communication skills to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft the concept note, study protocol, and work plan for the research project.
- Lead stakeholder mapping, engagement, and kickoff meetings at the national level.
- Support ethics submissions and secure facility permissions.
- Organize and supervise baseline facility assessments and readiness checks.
- Facilitate the training and orientation of facility teams.
- Track implementation progress, manage risks, and ensure timely documentation.
- Prepare weekly updates, monthly progress reports, and an end-of-quarter report with renewal recommendations.
Deliverables Within 3 Months
- Completed concept note and study protocol; ethics submission lodged.
- Stakeholder map and kickoff meetings documented.
- Facility permissions secured and baseline assessments completed.
- Monthly progress summaries shared with leadership.
- End-of-quarter report with recommendations for renewal.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in Public Health, Reproductive Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience coordinating health research or program implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in sexual and reproductive health (SRH) projects.

- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Willingness to travel and commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding.
