About the Role

We are seeking Customer Support Specialists with a QA Engineer mindset .

Important: This role requires fluent spoken English with a neutral, British, or American accent for professional, global customer interactions.

This is not only a support position but also a technical quality-oriented role —approaching customer problems like a QA engineer: reproducing issues, testing scenarios, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver customer support in fluent English (British/American accent required) via phone, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot and replicate issues with a QA/test approach , providing clear documentation of steps.
• Escalate validated bugs and feature requests to QA and Engineering teams.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to product and process improvements .
• Maintain structured knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.
• Ensure both technical accuracy and customer empathy in all interactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Accent Requirement: Fluent spoken English with a neutral, British, or American accent .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, preferably with QA/testing exposure.
• Ability to think like an engineer : systematic problem breakdown, reproducibility, and documentation.
• Prior experience in customer or technical support is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and QA tools (Zendesk, Jira, etc.) preferred.
• Patience, professionalism, and clarity in high-pressure customer situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
• Design and develop PCBs using tools like Proteus/Eagle.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the integrity and efficiency of hardware designs.
• Support rapid prototyping initiatives.

• Design diagnostic tools for quick defect detection

• Debugging and Troubleshooting:

• Utilize oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other debugging tools to diagnose and rectify hardware issues.

• Collaborate with the lead engineer and team members to resolve complex hardware challenges.

• Documentation:

• Maintain detailed documentation for all hardware designs, changes, and iterations.

• Assist in the creation of user manuals and technical guides.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineering and product management, to ensure smooth integration and meet product objectives.

• Attend team meetings and provide updates on project progress and challenges.
• Provide continuous training for field repair engineers.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc./HND
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a related role.
• Experience with the Agency banking business would be an added advantage.
• Good computer skills. Must have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Good Relationship skills and emotional intelligence skills
• Must be self-driven and be able to take initiative
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Proficient in English

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will champion quality across our distributed systems. Partnering with engineering (Golang, Laravel), frontend (VueJS), and API teams, you'll design and execute test strategies, build automation frameworks, and ensure our micro-services ecosystem meets reliability and performance standards.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans: functional, regression, integration, API, and UI
• Design, implement, and scale automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or equivalent)
• Collaborate with developers to define testable acceptance criteria and improve testability
• Execute manual and automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects
• Perform performance, load, and stress testing on microservices and APIs
• Establish and monitor quality metrics (e.g., test coverage, defect rates, MTTR)
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Mentor junior QA engineers and drive best practices in test automation and quality engineering

• 5+ years of QA experience in software engineering environments
• Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks for API and UI testing
• Experience testing microservices architectures and RESTful/gRPC APIs
• Familiarity with Golang and Laravel codebases—able to write basic test scripts or helpers
• Hands‑on experience with frontend testing in VueJS applications
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating test suites
• Skilled in defect tracking tools (Jira, GitHub Issues) and version control (Git)
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration mindset
