The Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring all food products and operational procedures meet established quality and hygiene standards. This includes monitoring food preparation, cleanliness, safety compliance, and service consistency to maintain customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance. br>
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas, storage, and service zones to ensure hygiene and quality standards are met.
Monitor food handling practices to ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FSSAI, FDA).
Verify that ingredients and finished products meet quality specifications, including taste, texture, temperature, and presentation.
Monitor inventory quality, check expiration dates, and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) is practiced.
Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions to kitchen and service teams.
Ensure compliance with cleaning schedules, pest control protocols, and sanitation checklists.
Maintain records of quality checks, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
Train kitchen and service staff on hygiene practices, food safety procedures, and quality standards.
Assist in preparing for health inspections and ensure readiness at all times.
Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure product quality from the source.
Report regularly to management with quality performance data and improvement plans.

Job Summary
Sebore Farms International is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to oversee the quality assurance processes in our milk collection and production operations. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This position requires keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Quality Assessment: Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw milk and final dairy products to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
-Sampling and Testing: Implement standard operating procedures for sampling, testing, and evaluating milk quality parameters, including but not limited to fat content, bacteria count, and temperature.
-Documentation: Maintain precise records of quality control inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken, ensuring proper documentation for regulatory compliance and audits.
-Training and Supervision: Provide training to staff on quality control processes, best practices, and food safety standards to foster a culture of quality awareness.
-Non-Conformance Management: Identify and investigate instances of non-conformance, implementing corrective and preventive actions to address discrepancies and prevent recurrence.
-Collaboration: Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure that quality control protocols are integrated at every stage of milk collection and production.
-Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with industry regulations and standards that pertain to dairy product quality and safety, ensuring compliance at all times.
-Process Improvement: Evaluate existing quality control processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
-Customer Feedback: Monitor and respond to customer feedback regarding product quality and safety, using this data to inform continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred. < r>- A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or assurance in the dairy industry or related field.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, standards, and quality control processes in dairy production.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and quality assessment tools specific to milk and dairy products.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Relevant certifications, such as HACCP or ISO 22000, are a plus.
