Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Factory Worker to join our paint manufacturing facility. The Factory Worker will be responsible for performing various tasks in the production, packaging, and distribution of paint products, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained. This role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Support: Operate machinery and equipment used in the mixing, blending, and filling of paint products, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials, such as pigments, solvents, and resins, and transport them to designated areas using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, ensure proper labeling, and verify that finished products meet quality standards.
- Packaging: Pack paint cans, containers, or other packaging materials, ensuring accurate labeling and secure sealing.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, reporting shortages to supervisors.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any safety hazards or incidents.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Education: SSCE or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Skills:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials.
- Physical ability to lift up to 23kg, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety standards.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a factory environment with exposure to chemicals, noise, and machinery.
- Use of PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, and respirators, is required.
- Shift work may include evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on production needs.
