Role Overview
The Distribution Officer will play a key role in developing and managing relationships with resellers, distribution agents, and channel partners. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-oriented, and a keen eye for detail, and capable of identifying growth opportunities across existing and emerging markets.
You will be responsible for building, expanding and maintaining our reseller network, ensuring timely fulfilment of B2B orders, and driving repeat business through excellent relationship management, excellent customer service, and coordination with internal sales and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and onboard new resellers and distribution partners.
Build and manage strong, ongoing relationships with resellers and B2B customers to ensure repeat sales.
Handle partner inquiries, complaints, and post-sale support with professionalism.
Monitor and track sales performance and reseller satisfaction.
Work closely with logistics and sales teams to ensure product availability and delivery.
Conduct regular visits to reseller outlets and distribution points regularly to assess performance and gather feedback.
Collect and analyze sales, customer, and market feedback data to inform strategy and improve efficiency.
Contribute to marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies for the reseller network
Support territory expansion efforts by identifying new market opportunities.
Ensure accurate documentation of transactions and partner interactions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field. < r>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in distribution, B2B sales, or customer account management < r>Proven success managing B2B or retail distribution channels.
An understanding of Network/MultiLevel Marketing Frameworks is an added advantage
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word)
Ability to work independently and meet sales and growth targets
Prior experience in the FMCG or wellness industry is a plus

Job Description
1. Content Ingestion & Delivery
a. Manage and oversee the entire delivery pipeline for music and video content across all supported DSPs.
b. Ensure timely and accurate ingestion of releases, including proper formatting of metadata, audio, and artwork assets.
c. Maintain and troubleshoot automated and manual delivery systems, ensuring high success rates and minimal rejections.
d. Liaise with DSPs to resolve ingestion issues, takedown requests, and metadata conflicts.
2. Metadata & Compliance
a. Enforce metadata and content guidelines in accordance with DSP standards (DDEX, ISRC, ISWC, UPC).
b. Validate rights ownership and ensure all releases meet copyright, publishing, and territorial restrictions.
c. Collaborate with legal and rights management teams to resolve ownership disputes or flag content risks.
3. Workflow Optimization & Process Management
a. Develop and implement efficient workflows for catalog onboarding, priority release handling, and content QC.
b. Lead initiatives to reduce delivery errors, improve turnaround times, and enhance client satisfaction.
c. Identify and execute process improvements to increase operational efficiency and scalability.
4. Team Management & Collaboration
a. Manage and support a team of content operations specialists or coordinators.
b. Coordinate with A&R, client services, product, and marketing teams to align on release timelines and promotional priorities.
