  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior civil engineers and design teams.
  • Review and approve design submissions, construction plans, and technical reports.
  • Oversee construction supervision activities, ensuring quality and adherence to design specifications.
  • Identify and mitigate design and construction risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in transportation engineering.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation or Highway Engineering.
  • A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on transportation infrastructure design and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams on large-scale road and bridge projects.
  • Expertise in transportation planning software, CAD (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D), and relevant design analysis tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of highway design standards, traffic engineering principles, and construction methodologies.
  • Experience with projects in **Onitsha** or similar challenging logistical environments in Nigeria is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
  • Ability to effectively manage client relationships and project stakeholders.
