**Tax Accountant Intern**
The Tax Accountant intern is responsible for supporting the accounting process related to statutory regulations in the country of operation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support with monthly and annual tax compliance including but not limited to Personal Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Withholding Tax, National Content Development Levy, Corporate Income Tax etc.
+ Processing of tax payments and other levies
+ Generation of Withholding tax receipts
+ Support with tax audit queries
+ Dispatch of tax information to tax authorities
+ Support with queries related to statutory audits
**Experience & Exposures:**
+ Recent graduate in accounting related discipline.
+ Candidate must be fluent in English.
+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft office
+ Candidate should be adaptable and self-driven.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Account Manager with 2–3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate is ICAN-certified and has a working knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and account coordination. This role supports senior team members in managing client and vendor accounts, ensuring timely invoicing, procurement compliance, and financial reporting. br>
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing client accounts, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation
Support procurement activities including vendor engagement, purchase order processing, and compliance with procurement policies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with internal and regulatory standards
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to track orders, resolve invoice discrepancies, and manage payment schedules
Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports
Ensure all account activities align with ICAN and company financial reporting standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement and financial operations
Monitor budget adherence for assigned projects or clients
Support internal and external audits as required
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field < r>2–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, or procurement < r>ICAN Certified
Knowledge of procurement lifecycle, vendor management, and budgeting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP)
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools
Familiarity with contract management and compliance standards
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
