Our client, a leading Interior Design Firm based in ikeja , Lagos, is looking for a lover of beautiful things, with a great attitude and lots of positive energy.
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for customers as they enter the showroom, inquire about the type of furniture/product they want, and close every sale with potential customers. You will also supervise the sales process, politely respond to questions and inquiries raised by customers, and ensure that all customers receive excellent customer service and have excellent sales skills. keeping the shop floor stocked with merchandise, assist in displaying of merchandise and organizing the shop floor and stock areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Approach customers as they enter the showroom, inquire about the type of furniture/product they want.
- Develop new sales strategies/techniques to attract new customers to the showroom.
- Supervise the sales process, politely respond to questions and inquires raised by customers, and close every sale with potential customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized appearance of the showroom.
- Making sure your appearance is clean and well kept.
- Conduct follow-up calls to potential and existing customers via telephone and e-mail to sell products and services.
- Attend to other deliverables as assigned by store supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is an added advantage)
- 2 years of experience in retail sales management, furniture sales, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of interior design and the furniture industry
- Outstanding organizational skills and team member.
- Ability to respond to questions and inquiries raised by customers and ensure that all customers receive excellent customer service

Maintaining regular follow-up to ensure prompt payment of monthly premiums by all clients is essential. Moreover, the candidate will be responsible for fostering strong, long-term relationships on behalf of the company to support continuous sales growth.
The position also involves promoting the advantages of life insurance to potential clients in private, federal, and state organizations located within Lagos State.
The ideal candidate for this position must be a risk taker, a person with a teachable and resilience spirit, that have good negotiating and persuading skills
Must have good communication skills and be able to work under pressure with other team members under minimal or no supervision.
NB the job is strictly a commission and allowance base job with a monthly allowance of #80,000 for General insurance and #85,000 for life insurance
