Job Description
Support the entire plant in process automation and
minimization of losses as a result of process malfunction br>• Support corrective maintenance in automation and < r>process control by evaluation, troubleshooting support
and knowledge transfer
• Manage calibration activities, software modifications, < r>backups, parameter registration and version control
• Access the performance of shift technicians and electrical < r>technicians with regards to solving automation issues
• Assess and train technicians and operators in automation < r>• Develop and maintain a database of all beverage plant < r>automation information (settings, sensitivity, parameters
etc.)
• Support in providing innovative/improvement idea to < r>enhance continuous improvement in the process
Requirements
• First Degree or its equivalent in < r>Electrical /Electronic Engineering,
Process Control and Automation
Engineering or related discipline.
• Membership of NSE and COREN < r>certified is required
• At least 10 years post-NYSC practical, < r>job-relevant experience in a wellstructured FMCG (botting) company,
with specific expertise in Krones Machines.
Nature of Work: Shift
• Candidates from other West African < r>Countries are encouraged to apply,
but candidates must be able to
communicate in English language

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain electrical and automation systems for industrial and manufacturing processes. br>Perform electrical system design, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
Implement automation solutions to improve production efficiency and system reliability.
Ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical equipment, including motors, controllers, and sensors.
Revamp and reintroduce all the supposed and non-functional automated systems.
Implement and optimize automation systems to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Collaborate with other engineers and managers to integrate electrical controls into the production process.
Oversee the installation of new electrical equipment and systems.
Upgrade existing electrical systems to enhance performance and meet production requirements.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in manufacturing equipment.
Implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
Design and implement instrumentation and control systems for process monitoring and control.
Calibrate and maintain control instruments to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Ensure that electrical systems and equipment comply with safety regulations and standards.
Implement safety measures to protect personnel and prevent electrical hazards.
Evaluate and implement energy-efficient practices in electrical systems
Identify opportunities for energy savings and cost reduction by 10%
Work closely with mechanical engineers, production engineers, and other departments to integrate electrical systems into manufacturing.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, including schematics, manuals, and records.
Provide regular reports on the performance and status of electrical systems.
Train and support production and maintenance personnel on properly using and maintaining electrical equipment.
Stay informed about new technologies and industry best practices.
Manage electrical engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with other departments.
Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
