The Day-to-Day War

1. Short-Form Video Production (Your Primary Weapon)

  • You'll consume my pillar content and become an expert at identifying the 3-5 most potent, "golden nugget" clips each week.
  • You will edit these clips into sharp, engaging, and perfectly subtitled short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Your ability to find my best hooks and create a fast-paced, compelling edit is everything.

2. Content Adaptation (The Air Support)

  • You'll adapt my core ideas into drafts for my weekly "Commando Dispatch" newsletter and daily posts for my public WhatsApp channel.
  • You'll work from my established Canva templates to design and repurpose my most powerful quotes and concepts into static graphics and carousels.
  • You'll create my on-brand YouTube thumbnails.

3. Publishing & Performance

  • You will manage my content calendar and own the final step of publishing my content across all platforms.

The Role: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Content Creator to join our growing team.

This pivotal role will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and optimizing engaging multimedia content for all our platforms (SPNL, Princewill PR, GGCE, Alali, Game Guru, Kidz Paint, TBOL)

You'll be a key storyteller, capturing the essence of our experiences, promoting our brand, and driving offline & online engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our brand identity and marketing goals. This includes identifying content opportunities, planning content calendars, and staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Multi-Platform Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including: Captivating Visuals: Photos and videos (including Reels, TikToks, and short-form video) that highlight our activities, the atmosphere, and customer experiences.
  • Compelling Copy: Craft engaging captions, blog posts, website content, and marketing materials that resonate with our target audience.
  • Graphic Design: Create visually appealing static and animated graphics for social media and other digital platforms.
  • On-Location Content Capture: Travel regularly to various locations across Lagos to capture authentic, high-quality content during live sessions, events, and day-to-day operations.

This requires flexibility and a keen eye for detail in diverse environments.

  • Social Media Management: Post and schedule content across social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), monitor engagement, and interact with our online community.
  • SEO & Web Optimization: Implement SEO best practices in all content created (e.g., keyword research, meta descriptions, alt text for images, structured data where applicable) to improve Alali's organic search visibility and website traffic.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the creative Team, events, and operations teams to ensure content consistency and support overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse content formats.
  • Exceptional storytelling ability with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in visual content creation and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, InShot for video editing).
  • Demonstrable understanding of current social media trends, platforms, and analytics.
  • Solid grasp of SEO principles and practical experience in optimizing content for search engines.
  • Ability to travel to various locations within Lagos as required for content capture.
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines.
  • A passion for art, creativity, and customer engagement is a significant plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, New grad

Pay: ₦75, ₦250,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 – 75 per week
