JOB PURPOSE:

The Sales Manager will lead and execute sales strategies for the successful launch of a high-profile defence event in Africa. This role involves building strategic relationships with government agencies, defence contractors, industry stakeholders, and exhibitors to ensure maximum participation and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event sales, a strong understanding of the defence and security sector, and exceptional negotiation and networking skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Sales Strategy & Planning:


• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the launch event in alignment with the Sales Director's vision.


• Conduct market research to identify potential exhibitors, sponsors, and partners within the defence sector.


• Create and maintain a sales pipeline, tracking progress against targets.

Business Development:


• Identify and secure new business opportunities across Africa and relevant international markets.


• Engage with key decision-makers in defence ministries, armed forces, OEMs, and defence technology providers.


• Negotiate and close exhibition space sales, sponsorship packages, and partnership agreements.

Relationship Management:


• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, trade associations, and government bodies.


• Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction from contract signing through to event delivery.

Collaboration & Reporting:


• Work closely with the marketing, operations, and content teams to ensure sales commitments are delivered effectively.


• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to the Sales Director.

Event Execution Support:


• Attend and represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and networking forums.


• Support on-site sales and client servicing during the launch event.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:


• Degree educated


• 5+ years' proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within defence, aerospace, or security events/exhibitions.


• Strong network within the defence sector in Africa and the globe.


• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.


• Ability to work under pressure and deliver against tight deadlines.


• Willingness to travel extensively across Africa and globally as required.


• Fluency in English; knowledge of French, Arabic, or Portuguese is an advantage.


• Great CRM knowledge – preferably SalesForce

Performance Indicators (KPIs)


• Achievement of sales revenue targets.


• Growth in number and quality of exhibitors and sponsors.


• Client satisfaction and retention rates.


• Expansion of industry network and partnerships.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Commercial Sales Lead
to drive MacBook sales through system integrators (SIs) who serve end-user clients across enterprise, education, and government sectors. This role is responsible for building strong commercial relationships, executing go-to-market strategies, and achieving sales targets in collaboration with a network of channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute
    strategic sales plans to grow MacBook sales through system integrators and channel partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships
    with key SI partners, understanding their business models, go-to-market strategies, and customer base.
  • Enable and support SIs
    in positioning MacBooks effectively to their end users with the right sales tools, training, and technical support.
  • Own the sales funnel
    from forecasting and lead development to pipeline management and deal closure in coordination with SI partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally
    with product marketing, technical pre-sales, and finance to ensure alignment with company goals and partner success.
  • Negotiate commercial terms
    including pricing, volume incentives, and marketing development funds (MDF) with channel partners.
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics
    , providing detailed reporting and insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date
    on Apple ecosystem developments, competitors, market trends, and customer needs to tailor commercial strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B channel sales or commercial sales experience, preferably in IT hardware or enterprise tech solutions.
  • Proven track record of managing reseller or SI partnerships and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of the system integrator landscape and how they interact with end customers in verticals like enterprise, education, or public sector.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of the Apple ecosystem, MacOS, and complementary enterprise solutions is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.

  • Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to align product innovation with market needs.
  • Drive customer-centric initiatives to improve satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and sustainability standards within the livestock feed sector.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and global industry developments to inform business decisions.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership on commercial performance, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12–15 years' commercial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within agribusiness, livestock feed, or animal nutrition.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth and managing large commercial teams across multiple regions.
  • Strong knowledge of livestock production systems, feed formulations, animal nutrition, and the broader agricultural value chain.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in developing markets across Africa or other emerging economies is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience managing P&L.

Job Summary
The Commercial Sales Officer will play a key role in supporting business development, sales execution, and customer order management within the Commercial Division. The Commercial Officer is responsible for identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders. The role involves assisting the BDMs in deal structuring, issuing Proforma Invoices, and coordinating customer orders. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Business Development & Sales Support:
  • Assist and provide operational support to the BDMs in structuring deals and engaging clients.
  • Prepare and issue PFIs to facilitate deal structuring and customer transactions.
  • Generate and submit Deal Recaps, ensuring that transaction details are accurately documented and aligned with contractual terms.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support efforts to expand DPRP's market share within the coastal and domestic sales segments.
  • Customer Order Processing & Coordination:
  • Support BDMs to ensure the end-to-end customer order process, from receipt to fulfillment.
  • Proactively address potential bottlenecks to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all documentation for vessel operations is processed efficiently to avoid operational delays.
  • Sales Collaboration & Customer Support:
  • Work with BDMs to ensure all customer related enquiries are addressed on a timely manner
  • Support the implementation of sales strategies to enhance revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Invoicing:
  • Ensure accuracy and timely issuance of invoices to clients.
  • Resolve all invoicing discrepancies and/or issues promptly

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in commercial sales, business development, or operations within the downstream oil and gas sector or other commercial related fields.
  • Prior experience in sales operations and sales support services.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable with the use of general Microsoft office tools.
