Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced onsite support for field network infrastructure, cloud services, and PCN systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of escalated network, connectivity, and telecom issues.
- Oversee configuration, optimization, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- Ensure high availability and resilience of field connectivity for operational and production systems.
- Support and monitor cloud-based and hybrid IT services used in field operations.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity, network segmentation, and PCN/OT security controls.
- Conduct regular health checks, audits, and performance reviews of field network systems.
- Collaborate with corporate IT, engineering, and vendors to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Document solutions and workflows, and provide training for junior and intermediate field support staff.
Drive improvements in field IT infrastructure reliability, redundancy, and disaster recovery planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years' experience in network engineering, cloud services, and PCN/telecom support.
- Strong expertise with Cisco/Juniper networking, VPNs, firewalls, and VoIP systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid integrations.
- Solid knowledge of PCN/OT networks, cybersecurity, and industry best practices.
- Field experience in oil & gas or industrial operations (Escravos, Agbami, or similar environments).
- Relevant certifications (CCNP/CCIE, Cloud Architect, or Network Security) are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in challenging field environments with minimal supervision.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Architect to support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives across mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud-based systems architecture and demonstrate knowledge of DevSecOps, system lifecycle development, and Agile methodologies. This role will contribute to the strategic design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based architectures in support of enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud strategies and requirements.
- Apply DevSecOps practices to streamline system development, integration, and deployment.
- Support system engineering lifecycle activities, from concept through deployment.
- Participate in Agile development activities including Program Increment Planning, Sprint Execution, and team retrospectives.
- Utilize cloud service provider technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle) to create innovative solutions.
- Document architectural decisions and develop models using tools such as Cameo or equivalent.
- Serve as a thought leader in cloud modernization initiatives and architecture best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM discipline. Six (6) years of experience as a Cloud Architect may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in architecting cloud-based systems.
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
- Concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) implementation and integration.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and tools.
- Working knowledge of full Systems Engineering lifecycle practices.
- Agile experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
- Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment; SAFe certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with modeling and architecture tools such as Cameo.
