Job Description
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough medical consultations and physical examinations
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies based on clinical findings
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date patient records using digital or paper systems
Refer patients to specialists or for diagnostic tests when clinically indicated
Provide medical support and guidance to nursing staff
Uphold the clinic's standard for quality, safety, and confidentiality
Stay current with medical best practices and regulatory requirements
Participate in internal quality audits and team case discussions
Contribute to clinic development by offering feedback on service improvement
Requirements:
MBBS degree from a recognized institution
Full registration and a valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
Minimum of two years post-NYSC clinical experience
Previous experience in outpatient settings is highly desirable

Order and interpret diagnostic tests (laboratory, imaging, etc.).
Prescribe medications and administer treatments.
Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate care.
Provide emergency medical services when needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Participate in clinical audits, case reviews, and morbidity & mortality meetings.
Collaborate with nurses, lab scientists, pharmacists, and other healthcare staff.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
Ensure compliance with clinical policies, hygiene protocols, and safety standards.
Contribute to health outreach, vaccination programs, and public health education (as applicable).
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) from a recognized university.
Full registration and current practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
At least 1–3 years post-NYSC clinical experience (experience in a hospital or medical centre preferred). < r>Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in the use of electronic medical record systems (if applicable).
Ability to handle pressure and emergencies professionally.
Working Conditions:
May be required to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
