Job Title: MINI AMBULANCE DRIVER (PARAMEDIC)

Location: Medcourt Support Services, Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-Time

Medcourt Support Services is currently seeking a Mini Ambulance Driver (Paramedic) to support our emergency medical response operations in Ikeja. The ideal candidate will combine safe driving skills with basic medical knowledge to ensure quick and professional patient transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the mini ambulance safely and efficiently to emergency locations

  • Assist in providing basic first aid or paramedic support during transport

  • Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and fully stocked

  • Collaborate with medical teams and follow emergency protocols

  • Keep accurate transport and incident logs

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with good driving record

  • Basic paramedic or first aid certification (mandatory)

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role

  • Good knowledge of Lagos roads, especially the Ikeja axis

  • Calm, responsive, and safety-conscious

Core Responsibilities
Patient Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and functional assessments.
  • Analyze patient data to identify impairments, functional limitations, and activity limitations.
  • Set realistic and measurable treatment goals in collaboration with patients.

Treatment Planning And Implementation

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques (massage, mobilization, manipulation), therapeutic exercise (strengthening, stretching, cardiovascular), electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and gait training.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Patient Education And Counseling

  • Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and self-management strategies.
  • Provide home exercise programs and instruct patients on proper exercise techniques.
  • Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, including diet, exercise, and ergonomics.

Requirements
Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy, or a related field

Professional Requirements

  • Relevant professional certifications such as World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) or the Nigerian Society of Physiotherapy

Experience Requirements

  • 2-3 years proven experience in areas of physiotherapy, such as neurology, orthopaedics or geriatrics.

Knowledge Requirements

Dispensing and Medication Management:
