Job Description

A Sales Canvasser is responsible for generating leads and boosting sales by reaching out directly to potential customers, often through door-to-door visits, field marketing, street activation, or cold calling. The role involves face-to-face interaction, persuasion, and detailed product knowledge to convince prospects to buy or take action.
Key Responsibilities: br>
Approach potential customers in assigned areas (door-to-door, streets, events)

Present, promote, and explain products or services effectively

Distribute flyers, brochures, or samples as needed

Generate leads, take customer information, and follow up on prospects

Answer customer questions and handle objections professionally

Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly targets

Record feedback and report canvassing results to supervisors

Represent the company professionally in appearance and conduct

Assist in organizing promotional events or activation

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to improve strategies

Requirements:

Experience: Prior experience in sales, canvassing, or field marketing is a plus

Skills:

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Confidence and persuasive ability

Goal-driven and self-motivated

Ability to work under pressure and rejection

Basic record-keeping and reporting skills

Working Conditions:

Outdoor field work (door-to-door, market activation, road shows)

Flexible or shift-based schedule, including weekends or evenings

Travel within assigned locations or regions

Job Title: POS State Merchant Officer
Salary: 170,000 br>Locations: Anambra
Work Mode: Full Time


Roles and Responsibilities:

• To ensure quality aggregators are identified and onboarded in the State •
• E sure each aggregator achieves at least a 95% active agent base at any point in time. < r>• T ensure Aggregators promptly make fund available to all Agents under their network and ensure zero float balance of all Agents < r>• D ive minimum of 15 transaction counts per Agent per day < r>• C nstantly identify opportunities for increasing quality agent base in the region < r>• T ke full custody of all POS devices assigned to the state. < r>• R sponsible for assigning POS devices to aggregators based on qualifying criteria < r>• R sponsible for managing all POS devices in the state < r>• C ordinate POS distribution, retrieval and other support issues as might be required in the state < r>• C ordinate the repairs of faulty POS devices in the state working with the state EUS team. < r>• E sure appropriate and effective outlet branding is carried out in line with the “Picture of success (PICOS)” within the state
• Identify visibility opportunities for the brand within the state
• Effecti e management of POSM Materials stock in state warehouse to avoid damage, wastage, and obsolete materials in territory. < r>• T ain aggregators on POSM deployment to agents in line with “Picture of success
• E sure each aggregator recruits a minimum of 500 agents to drive the business < r>• I entify and leverage on the distribution opportunities in the state to grow the POS Business < r>• D ive market penetration of POS in the State < r>• T effectively report competitive activities in the State and implement adequate counter initiatives. < r>• T ack on-going initiatives in Market < r>• T immediately address or escalate any unusual competitor activity and sale support that may be a threat to performance of the business < r>Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
• A first degree in any discipline < r>• E perience in the Fintech Space would be an advantage. < r>• 2 years of commercial/ business management experience < r>• T am leadership experience < r>• 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in POS Management
