Job Summary:We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and streamline the supply chain operations across all hospital branches from our head office in Abuja. The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement, inventory control, logistics, and vendor management, ensuring seamless availability of medical supplies and essential equipment.
This role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in supply chain management within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG, who can drive efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies that align with hospital goals and improve operational efficiency.
Manage all procurement activities including sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring uninterrupted availability of critical medical supplies across multiple locations.
Supervise logistics and distribution processes to guarantee timely and cost-effective delivery.
Ensure all supply chain activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
Lead, mentor, and supervise the procurement and logistics team to optimize performance and productivity.
Analyze supply chain data, prepare performance reports, and recommend improvements to reduce cost and improve service delivery.
Conduct risk assessments and contingency planning for supply disruptions.
RequirementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in supply chain systems and ERP tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to procurement and healthcare logistics.
