br>Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance & Food Safety
Develop, implement, and maintain the QSR’s Quality Management System (QMS) and food safety protocols (e.g., HACCP, ISO standards). < r>Conduct regular food safety audits and inspections across all outlets and central kitchens.
Investigate and respond to quality complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of food production and service activities.
2. Compliance & Regulatory Monitoring
Monitor and ensure compliance with local and national food regulations (e.g., NAFDAC, SON, Ministry of Health).
Liaise with regulatory agencies during inspections and certifications.
Keep abreast of updates to industry standards and ensure alignment across outlets.
3. Training & Capacity Building
Design and deliver quality and hygiene training to kitchen, service, and support staff.
Promote a strong culture of food safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
Support onboarding of new staff with quality-focused induction programs.
4. Supplier Quality Management
Oversee supplier audits and ensure that raw materials meet QSR quality and safety standards.
Evaluate vendor performance and manage non-conformances effectively.
Ensure cold chain and raw material handling protocols are maintained during delivery.
5. Continuous Improvement & Reporting
Collect, analyze, and report quality metrics (e.g., customer complaints, audit scores, hygiene ratings).
Work with operations, kitchen, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the QSR network.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Hospitality Management, or a related field. < r>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar QA/QC role, preferably within the food or hospitality industry. < r>Certification in HACCP, ISO 22000, or other food safety standards is highly desirable.
Familiarity with QSR operations and fast-paced service environments.
Skills & Competencies
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
*Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control methodologies.
*Ability to lead cross-functional audits and manage compliance reporting.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
