The Role
We're hiring a versatile
Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist
who can take projects from concept to final cut, craft engaging motion graphics, serve as the
personal videographer to the Team Lead
(including driving to locations), and contribute to branding and content ideas.
What You'll Do
1) End-to-End Video Production
- Plan, script, and storyboard content for brand, product, community, and campaign videos.
- Capture high-quality footage (interviews, b-roll, events, site tours).
- Edit to broadcast/social standards: pacing, sound design, color correction/grading, subtitles, aspect ratios.
- Manage media assets, backups, metadata, and version control.
2) Motion Graphics
- Design 2D/3D animations, logo stings, lower thirds, infographics, and explainer visuals.
- Build motion templates and graphic systems consistent with brand guidelines.
3) Personal Videographer to the Team Lead
- Drive the Team Lead to shoots/locations and capture planned footage.
- Anticipate moments, mic talent, manage quick setups, and ensure high production value on the move.
- Maintain a professional presence, discretion, and reliability in fast-changing schedules.
4) Branding & Content Conceptualization
- Translate briefs into compelling visual concepts and storylines.
- Contribute to campaign ideation, content calendars, and narrative angles.
- Uphold brand consistency across all video and motion assets.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years' proven experience in video editing and motion design (portfolio/reel required).
- Advanced proficiency in
Adobe Premiere Pro
and
After Effects
(DaVinci Resolve, Audition, Illustrator, and Photoshop are a plus). - Strong camera skills (mirrorless/DSLR/cinema), lighting, and audio capture.
- Demonstrated color correction/grading and sound mixing abilities.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; confident driving within Lagos and beyond.
- Excellent time management; comfortable with occasional evenings/weekends and travel.
- Strong storytelling instincts, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with drone operations and FPV (licensed where applicable).
- Knowledge of 3D (Cinema 4D/Blender) or advanced compositing.
- Familiarity with social platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) best practices.
- Experience in real estate, architecture, or documentary-style content.
