What You'll Do:- Lead financial planning, modelling, and ROI analysis for gas infrastructure and LNG projects- Structure and support capital raising efforts with banks, DFIs, and private equity partners- Advise on LNG/gas sales contracts, pricing models, and market strategy- Ensure compliance with Nigerian fiscal and energy regulations (NMDPRA, FIRS, GACN)- Present financial insights and forecasts to leadership, investors, and external stakeholders
What You Bring:- 15+ years' experience in oil & gas, with strong focus on gas commercialisation & project finance- Proven track record in fund sourcing, LNG advisory, and financial modelling- Deep knowledge of Nigeria's gas value chain, pricing frameworks, and regulatory landscape- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills- Professional certifications (CFA, ACA/FCA, ACCA/FCCA, MBA) strongly preferred

br>We are seeking a driven and analytical Investment Analyst to join our team. This role plays a vital part in connecting credible investment opportunities with the right investors. You will lead efforts in investor sourcing, deal structuring, due diligence, and post-investment monitoring—contributing meaningfully to Africa’s economic growth story.
Design and implement investor sourcing and engagement strategies in alignment with W2A’s Investment & Trade Facilitation (ITF) objectives. < r>Identify, profile, and engage investors based on ticket sizes, risk appetite, and sector interests.
Facilitate investor matching, ensuring alignment with opportunity requirements and expectations.
Conduct financial modeling, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for potential deals.
Support due diligence processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory, financial, and legal standards.
Coordinate deal room activities including investor presentations, Q&A sessions, and negotiations.
Track investment performance and manage reporting to key stakeholders' post-deal.
Monitor trends in the investment landscape, policy developments, and market dynamics.
Prepare high-quality investment memos, reports, and documentation for internal and external use.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Investment, or a related field (Professional Certification is a plus).
Solid experience in investment analysis, due diligence, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong financial modeling/reporting and analytical skills.
Proficiency with investment tools and software.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Must be able to work full-time and on-site.
