Job Description
Responsible for sales of Oracle consulting services. We are seeking a high-performing **Consulting Sales Representative** based in Nigeria to **drive sales of Oracle's Banking and Digital Banking Consulting Services** across **Western Africa** , including both Anglophone and select Francophone markets, as well as **other assigned accounts in the region** .
This role requires a self-motivated individual with deep knowledge of the financial services industry, strong relationships in the region, and the ability to position Oracle's value proposition to both business and IT stakeholders at the C-level.
**The candidate is expected to:**
+ Hunt and farm across assigned territory and accounts, driving both white-space and existing account opportunities.
+ Possess a strong network across the financial services sector.
+ Have a proven record of overachieving services sales targets, particularly exceeding USD 10 million annually.
+ Be an excellent networker capable of identifying key IT and business stakeholders to position Oracle Consulting services, in alignment with license sales and presales efforts.
**Primary Objectives:**
+ Sell consulting services and meet/exceed sales targets across assigned territories, with emphasis on Kenya, Ethiopia, and other East & Horn of Africa countries.
+ Engage strategically with customers to build lasting relationships and lay the foundation for consulting sales.
+ Effectively position Oracle's consulting portfolio at C-level, covering business, IT, and operations.
+ Build deep client engagement models to drive value and long-term partnerships.
+ Create a tailored transformation case, business case, and solution proposals for each client opportunity.
+ Manage and close opportunities efficiently through structured sales processes.
+ Drive lead generation and pipeline management activities.
+ Collaborate across Oracle LOBs, FSBGU teams, and other internal and external stakeholders.
+ Lead Oracle FSGU account plans and coverage models to identify and pursue target clients.
+ Work with partners, alliances, license sales, and executive-level stakeholders both internally and externally.
**Responsibilities**
Responsible for selling the Oracle consulting services. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Sales Ownership & Quota Delivery**
+ Own and achieve a personal quota through selling Oracle Consulting Services into assigned territories.
+ Develop and execute territory and account-level sales strategies for both **white space** (new logos) and **existing accounts** .
+ Manage a balanced portfolio of opportunities focused on both **transformation-led deals** and **run-the-bank initiatives** .
**Customer Engagement**
+ Build and nurture senior relationships across **banks, regulators, fintechs, and ecosystem partners** in West Africa.
+ Understand customer needs and position **tailored transformation proposals** with clear ROI and business impact.
+ Deliver strong **value propositions and business cases** in collaboration with presales, license sales, and delivery teams.
**Sales Process & Pipeline Management**
+ Create, manage, and progress a healthy pipeline of opportunities aligned with quarterly and annual sales targets.
+ Lead customer engagements from opportunity creation through to closure in a structured and collaborative manner.
+ Ensure accurate forecasting and deal governance per Oracle's internal processes.
**Collaboration & Influence**
+ Work in close coordination with Oracle's **License Sales, Presales, Product Management, and Consulting Delivery** teams.
+ Support account planning activities and participate in joint account strategies across lines of business.
+ Actively engage Oracle's **partner ecosystem** to drive strategic collaborations and expand Oracle's market reach.
