  • Leading the design, development, and implementation of robust cybersecurity systems and architectures.
  • Overseeing the deployment and management of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
  • Developing and enforcing security best practices and coding standards for secure software development.
  • Conducting threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all aspects of the product lifecycle.
  • Developing and executing incident response plans, and leading remediation efforts.
  • Researching and evaluating new security technologies and methodologies.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or management role.
  • Expertise in network security, application security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and cryptography.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
  • Demonstrated experience with security automation and orchestration tools.
  • Strong understanding of threat intelligence and incident response frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience managing remote teams.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans.
