Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan electrical distribution systems, including substations, feeders, and protection schemes.
- Perform load analysis, fault calculations, and system studies for distribution networks.
- Develop engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for distribution projects.
- Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning of new distribution infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power quality, reliability, and outages.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to optimize system performance.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships for distribution projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems.
- Experience in the design and analysis of electrical distribution systems.
- Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, DigSilent PowerFactory).
- Knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and utility standards.
- Experience with substation design, protection relaying, and SCADA systems is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently on-site.
- Willingness to respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a significant advantage.
