Full Job Description
You will be responsible for talent acquisition and manpower
planning. You will work closely with the Human Resources Manager to
design a system for talent acquisition and employer branding, and will
be solely responsible for implementing the system and driving
initiatives. You will also be responsible for the onboarding process
and ensure that new employees have a positive experience.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Update company’s policy for talent
benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing
- Build
an active database/pipeline of candidates
- Plan the
company’s talent acquisition strategy and lead the implementation with
hiring managers
- Research and study to understand
recruitment needs and requirements
- Perform talent
acquisition activities such as writing job descriptions, person
specification, candidate screening, interviews, recommendation,
etc.
- Communicate interview outcomes to candidates
- Represent the company at events that will aid recruiting
- Review employment documents and background check reports
- Follow up with managers to determine the effectiveness of
recruiting efforts
- Conduct new employee onboarding,
ensuring that processes are followed, engaging and accurate.
- Create reports on talent acquisition activities and suggest
ideas for improvement
Employer Branding
- Work closely with the marketing department to develop
creative ways to attract candidates and address challenges
- Serve as the company’s ambassador at various career and
recruiting events
- Build relationships with candidates
by ensuring qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future
opportunities
- Seek market intelligence to gain
competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing
methodologies
Manpower Planning
- Perform analysis of organizational development and
anticipate future employment needs
- Work closely with
the HRM to get a clear view of the company’s hiring needs and
organizational goals
Requirements
• Bachelor’s
Degree in relevant fields
• A minimum of 4 years
working experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (added
advantage if it is in a retail or FMCG company)
•
Hands on experience with relevant tools and software
•
Good knowledge of labour laws and other relevant regulations
