A Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring theproper
functioning, efficiency, and safety of equipment, machinery,
andfacilities within a company or organization. Their primary role is
to preventand address equipment breakdowns, minimize downtime, and
maintain a productiveworking environment.

Regularly inspect and maintain machinery,equipment, and systems to
ensure they are in good working condition.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks accordingto a predetermined
schedule to prevent unexpected breakdowns.

Diagnose equipment malfunctions and breakdowns,identifying the root
causes of problems.
· Perform necessary
repairs, replacements, andadjustments to restore equipment
functionality.
· Maintain accurate records of
maintenanceactivities, including inspections, repairs, and
replacements.
· Keep track of equipment
history, maintenanceschedules, and relevant documentation.
· Utilize predictive maintenance techniques suchas
vibration analysis, thermography, and other diagnostic tools to
identifypotential issues before they lead to breakdowns.
· Ensure that all maintenance work is conducted
incompliance with safety regulations and standards.

Implement safety protocols and guidelines toprotect maintenance
personnel and the overall workforce.
·
Maintain an inventory of spare parts andnecessary supplies to ensure
prompt repairs and replacements.
· Coordinate
with procurement teams to ordernecessary parts when stock is low.
· Collaborate with other departments, such
asproduction, engineering, and operations, to understand maintenance
needs andpriorities.
· Coordinate maintenance
schedules to minimizedisruption to ongoing operations.
·
Identify opportunities to improve equipmentreliability, efficiency,
and performance.
· Propose and implement
process improvements toenhance maintenance practices.
·
Stay updated on industry trends, technologicaladvancements, and best
practices in maintenance.
· Provide training
to maintenance staff and otherrelevant personnel on proper equipment
usage and maintenance techniques.
· Respond to
emergency situations, such asequipment breakdowns during critical
production periods, and work to quicklyrestore functionality.
· Work within allocated maintenance budgets,making
cost-effective decisions regarding repairs, replacements, and
upgrades.
· Analyze maintenance data to
identify patterns,trends, and opportunities for optimization.
· Overall, a Maintenance Engineer plays a
crucialrole in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and
equipment, which directlycontributes to the organization's
productivity, safety, and profitability.
Requirements
· 12-15
years of Experience in Maintenance, Mechanicalor engineering roles
Experience with core manufacturing maintenance knowledge preferablyin
the agribusiness
· Local, Mechanical Engr with
SEP / Milling Plant
· Bachelor's degree or
diploma in MechanicalEngineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related
field (or equivalent workexperience).
· Proven
experience in supervising mechanical andelectrical projects,
preferably in facilities management or construction.
·
In-depth knowledge of systems, codes,regulations, and safety
standards.
· Strong leadership and team
management skills,with the ability to motivate and guide
technicians.
· Excellent communication and
interpersonal skillsfor effective collaboration with various
stakeholders.
· Professional certifications
related tomechanical and electrical systems (e.g., HVAC certification,
electricallicense) are a plus
