Full Job Description

• Frequently carry out patrol of the store as advised by the store CSO
• Enforce the adherence to other departmental SOP in the store
• Ensure critical points related to safety and security of the store – Fire exits, escape routes are not blocked and are clear
• Ensure any violation of other departmental SOP is reported to the CSO for further action
• Supervise the activities of all external security guards and external security supervisors at the store.
• Ensure that all items on the vendor’s LPO are accurately supplied and appropriate records are taken.
• Ensure all items supplied by vendors are adequately weighed and recorded accurately.
• Ensure customer invoice/receipts are properly screened at exit point to be sure that quantity on receipt corresponds with physical quantity purchased.
• Ensure customer entry/exit SOP are strictly enforced.
• Ensure staff entry/exit SOP are strictly enforced.
• Ensure assets of the company are adequately protected.
• Ensure all security breach are immediately reported to the store CSO.
• To be visible at every aisle and corners of the store.
• Monitor customers coming and going out of the stores.
• Respond to all situations and crisis that arises within the store.
• Observe and report issues to Line Manager.
• Offer safety and warning tips to customers.
• Retrieve receipt from customers and ensure the goods in their packs corresponds to what is on the receipts.
• Ensure that all staff belongings are signed for upon resumption before entering the store.
• Ensuring the Safety of Employees and Customers.
• Deter and apprehend shoplifters at various retail locations. Provide Customer Service when Necessary.
• Handle Crisis and Emergency Situations with Confidence.
