Full Job Description
Job Summary:• The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within a private residence or commercial establishment. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure that living and working spaces are sanitary, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing.
Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Change and launder linens and towels.
• Empty and clean trash containers.
• Clean kitchen appliances, countertops, and cabinets.
• Organize and tidy living areas, including bedrooms, living rooms, and dining areas.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to specific cleaning schedules and instructions provided by employers or supervisors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
