REPORT TO: PRESIDENT /
CHIEF EXECUTIVE
SUPERVISES: SALES & LETTING,
MARKETING,
CUSTOMER RELATIONS, BUSINESS
SUPPORT, RESIDENT RELATIONS & FACILITY MANAGEMENT LIAISES
JOB SUMMARY
·
Establish and improve the sales & marketing process to enhance
effectiveness
· Ensure that the sales
objectives of the company are met by aligning marketing strategy to
drive sales and overall corporate business strategy
·
Responsible for rejuvenating and sustaining company’s brand to
generate sales and new business
· Work
closely with the Chief Executive; partnering with the senior
leadership to develop strategies and execute tactics that communicates
the company's brand message and implementing same across the
organization.
· Work with agents,
vendors, lawyers and members of the press to establish a high profile
for the business
· Member of the Group’s
Management Committee and may attend board meetings on invitation
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Marketing
·
Provide strategic direction and guidance on Marketing plans and
campaign
· Analyze market trends and
recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies
based on analysis and feedback.
· Develop
pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer
satisfaction.
· Identify, develop, and
evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment
objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
· Evaluate the financial aspects of
product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and
development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss
projections.
· Communicate the value
proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales
tools that support the selling process of your products.
· Develop and lead a sales team that will develop and
execute new concepts, marketing models, sales channels and partners
for rapid disposal of inventory.
·
Ability to be the expert on buyers, how they buy and their buying
criteria; be the expert on competition and how to outperform them.
· Develop customer acquisition strategies
in alignment with Group business objectives and targets
· Oversee sales promotion of products/services of the
Group in all regions of the country
·
Ensure aggressive selling of Groups’ products and services to target
companies in all regions of the country.
·
Preparation of annual, bi-annual, quarterly and monthly marketing &
sales budget/plans for the company
·
Responsible for the development of adequately motivated sales and
marketing team members that perform to the highest standards and
ensure that sales and marketing objectives are met
·
Development and management of database for all existing and
prospective clients
· Conduct surveys to
obtain feedback on perception of Groups’ products and service delivery
· Responsible for appraising the
performance of team members
· Liaising
with brand management company (if brand management is an outsourced
function) to organize marketing and branding campaigns for the Group
· Responsible for overseeing the Group’s
Public Relations by relating with and using all forms of media and
communication strategy to build/maintain and manage the brands in the
Group.
· Oversees the development and the
implementation of frameworks for identifying and marketing new
business opportunities
· Overall
responsibilities for all market research activities aimed at
identifying potential opportunities for each target market segments
· Overall responsibility for negotiating
with corporate clients and partners in order to minimize risks,
maximize profits and provide a good level of stakeholders’
relationships within the constraints of the Group’s corporate and
marketing strategies
· Attends to client
presentations and helps prepare request for proposals (RFPs) that
would be used to pitch and win new businesses.

Manages press relations, speaking engagements and special events
· Oversees printed promotions and
electronic promotions such as web sites and social media and trade
show exhibitions
· Developing Policies &
Procedures to guide the operations of sales & marketing
· Carries out other assignments as may be delegated by
the President
Customer
relations
· Providing help and
advice to customers using our organisation's products or services
· Communicating courteously with customers
by telephone, email, letter and face to face
·
Investigating and solving customers' problems, which may be complex or
long-standing problems that have been passed on by customer service
assistants
· Handling customer complaints
or any major incidents, such as a security issue or a customer being
taken ill
· Issuing refunds or
compensation to customers
· Keeping
accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
· Analysing statistics or other data to
determine the level of customer service your organisation is providing
Resident Relations &
Facility Management
· Create and
maintain cordial relationship with all resident
·
Collection of service levy charges
·
Monitor and report on tenants’ compliance with agreements
· Ensure all facility complaints are timely
resolves
· Implement and ensure health
and safety procedures in all estates
·
Monitor all maintenance officers
Business Support
·
Manage the coordination of administrative functions, service delivery,
strategy and budgets by enforcing adequate controls to ensure the
organisation runs optimally
· Ensures
smooth operation of ICT infrastructure and upgrade as necessary to
provide the framework, support and capability for superior service
delivery
· Ensure adequate personnel
provision to drive the company’s objectives
·
Management of Human Resources within the group including setting
Performance Targets within defined time-frame, preparation of
Effectiveness Areas (Balanced Scorecard) & Personal Development
Programmes e.g. relevant Trainings
KEY RESULT
· Effectiveness of sales &
marketing strategies as evidenced periodically by: a. Achievement of
sales targets. b. Innovation in products development. c. Balance of
product pricing and profit margin d. Attainment of profitability
targets across products and service offerings.

Effectiveness of follow up strategies with customers: a. Minimise
indebtedness. b. Minimise complaints from customers while ensuring
timely and appropriate response to customers’ complaints. c. Customer
experience ratings. d. Innovations in customer service processes.
· Effectiveness in Resident Relations &
Facility Management: a. Speed resolution to resident complaints b.
Cordial relationship with residents c. Reduction in annual facility
maintenance cost
· Operational efficiency
of the Business Support Unit. a. Cost effectiveness of solutions
deployed. b. Quality and effectiveness of personnel performance
organisation c. Effective personnel succession planning and engagement
in line with annual target and pre-agreed outcome

CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
AND QUALIFICATION
· Significant
experience in or knowledge of Large Scale Real Estate Sales and
Marketing campaign.
· Must be a proven
leader with at least 5 years of real estate sales and marketing
function in a structured environment, out of which a minimum of 2
years should have been in similar managerial position.
· A good university degree.
·
Must have Masters in Business Administration
·
Recognized professional Marketing Certification will be an advantage
· Must be between 35-45 years old
