FINANCE MANAGER

Full Job Description

Our client is a leading commercial design and construction company committed to shaping the way people live and work in our society. Due to expansion, they are currently in need of a FINANCE MANAGER.

LOCATION: LAGOS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinating accounting functions and programs.Preparing financial analyses and reports.Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.Assisting with Capital raisingMaintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.Providing financial strategy and maintaining adequate cash flow and liquidity for the smooth running of operations.Co-ordinating annual audit preparations.Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.ACCA/ ACA Qualification4 years of accounting experience.Working knowledge of tax laws and IFRS.Strong financial analysis skills.Negotiation and cost saving skillsCritical thinking and Problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong organizational and stress management skills.Hands on experience with usage of Microsoft Office and Accounting software; Sage one, QuickBooks, etc.Ability to train and manage staff.Ability to work with little to no supervision.
