Full Job Description
• Plan, design and implement an IT and network strategy for the
Bank
• Design and develop work plans necessary for
the actualization of the object of safeguarding the information asset
of the Bank.
• Proactively identify control gaps and
weaknesses; and strengthening operational processes in IT and IT
related departments to ensure fraud prevention and safety of bank
information assets.
• Monitor and ensure compliance
with all relevant policies, laws and regulations and report
exceptions.
• Take all measures necessary to
safeguard both sensitive and non-sensitive information assets of the
Bank.
• Monitor, review, coordinate and supervise all
IT security-related functions.
• Review all reports
rendered and issues raised by team members and collaborators, analyze
same for necessary actions and for Management attention.
• Work closely with the Head, Information Technology to
identify and implement strategies that will promote control standards
and protection of information assets
Requirements
• Broad industry experience and
deep domain expertise
• Very good human relationship
skills
• Good coordination and leadership skills
• Effective writing and presentation skills
• IT Finance and negotiation skills
•
Highly meticulous with critical thinking skills and resourceful in
problem solving
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years of
experience in a combination of risk management, information security
and IT jobs
• Knowledge of common information
security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST.
