As an Animation Creative Director Volunteer, you will lead our animation projects, shaping visual storytelling, and bringing our creative vision to life through animation. This volunteer position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your animation skills, lead a team of volunteers, and contribute to our mission-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Creative Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling creative vision for animation projects that aligns with our organization's mission and objectives.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of volunteer animators, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the animation process.

Concept Development: Work closely with writers, designers, and other creatives to develop concepts and storyboards for animation projects.

Animation Direction: Direct the animation process, including character design, animation style, and visual effects, ensuring consistency and quality throughout.

Project Management: Oversee the production pipeline for animation projects, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other volunteers and team members to integrate animation into various projects and initiatives, enhancing storytelling and engagement.

Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews and evaluations of animation work to ensure it meets quality standards and aligns with project objectives.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on animation trends, techniques, and software tools, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our animation output.

Community Engagement: Engage with our community members and stakeholders to understand their animation needs and preferences, incorporating feedback into our work.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, or similar tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing animation projects, demonstrating creativity, storytelling, and technical skills.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of volunteer animators.
Experience in project management and animation direction is preferred but not required.
